Times Are Tough but Not for the City They Can Still Hire Someone to Decorate Downtown with Christmas Lights

I know it's difficult to believe in this time of desperate need, according to the city of Grand Junction-but if the story in the Daily Sentinel is to be believed they have contracted with a company to put up the Christmas lights downtown.

Some might think it embarrassing to recklessly careen from one desperate plea for increased tax dollars to another while at the same time not using the plethora of city employees to put up your own Christmas lights.

Obviously, there just is not enough employees to get the job done. Although it seems like they just keep adding people, let me check...wait a minute here it is...
