Kids Saying The Pledge-Vast Majority Think It Should Be Recited In School Every Morning

Contrary to what one hears on television, Rasmussen polling finds 77% of Americans believe school children should recite the pledge and interestingly, that includes 78% of Americans between 18 and 29 years of age.

Also of interest is that only 47% of all Americans believe that children should be able to opt out of the morning recitation. Once again the 18-29 demographic do not believe children should be allowed to opt out by a higher than average number of 57%.

Interesting results in the drill down question of whether the U.S. is a land of "Liberty and Justice For All". Only 33% of Democrats believe this to be true as opposed to 60% of Republicans.

Also, only 14% of all Americans believe "Under God" Should be removed from the Pledge.

Funny how our friends in the old media seem to report this as much more controversial.
