Update on Prior Post Regarding Udall Vote

In response to the increasing criticism that Senate candidate Mark Udall was receiving for missing an adjournment vote he had promised to attend and failed by one vote; his campaign has entered a really pretty funny explanation.

According to them, that vote was just a preliminary vote, and the real vote was days later which he did attend and the motion to adjourn was carried by much larger numbers.

Although people did leave after the first vote, Udall would have us believe that it didn't matter. Well I guess that's true and the Republicans didn't have a field day for several days on an empty House floor.

By the way, not to get personal in any way but doesn't Udall seem to be looking more and more like a large Muppet?

This is not to say that Bob Schaffer is perfect either -- he can on occasion look a bit like a slightly worked up credit manager lecturing some inattentive employees. I think it's the white shirt and close haircut.
