Big News -- US Supreme Court Upholds State Requirement That Voters Produce Photo ID


In a six to three decision the US Supreme Court today (4/28) upheld Indiana's right to require voters to produce government issued photo identification prior to voting.

The court did not think that some groups arguments that obtaining photographic identification was difficult and intimidating was sufficient to overcome these states rights to regulate its voting system and to ensure a lack of voter fraud.


One wonders why anyone would be so opposed to identifying voters as being first, citizens and second, qualified to vote. Unfortunately, one probable reason involves the voting of illegal aliens in states like California and dead people in states like Illinois. See full story here.
