They Are Going to Need To Sell A Lot of Gatorade To Pay For This

The effects of the much debated property tax increase [CORRECTION: Mill Levy freeze] are finally starting to be seen and felt.

According to
Representative Steve King, the Denver Athletic Club is considering calling an emergency meeting to discuss what is to be done about their property taxes, which have increased an amazing $215,000 since Gov. Ritter's executive order.

Now, I realize this is beating a horse presently being beaten in the courts, but it seems that according to the
Taxpayer's Bill of Rights, any change in the method of tax collection that raises taxes across the board belongs on the ballot.

I mean we're just saying...not to get all, the people have spoken or anything.

Please address concerns to the Governor of Denver and parts of Boulder County.
