This entire piece is really an attempt to pacify nervous Democrats that there is really nothing going on in these traditionally blue states. Since this is the Washington Post, what makes the piece interesting is that it seems to show that the left and particularly those along the Boston, Washington, New York and Philadelphia fever swamp need reassuring...ed
