Having not done at all well in Montrose and Mesa counties this last election John Salazar seems to think that throwing other peoples money at the areas will remedy the problem. For instance:

Montrose Safe and Secure Schools $485,000
Montrose Higher Education and Technology Park $2,000,000
Montrose Renewable Energy Development $1,000,000
Montrose Community Sustainable Nutrient Project $400,000
Montrose Airport Fence $5,000,000
Salazar announces $452,178 grant to begin Montrose Airport terminal expansion process
I think he has given up on Mesa County this year after he was soundly beaten by outsider Wayne Wolf. He must hold out hope (fear?) in Montrose, although he lost there as well.Click here to go to Salazars Appropriation's page.
