Many people remember that there was a controversy surrounding Marc Rich and his pardon by the Clinton administration after receiving some gifts from his ex-wife to the Clinton library fund, but that's about it.
Now that we see some of their finances realize that money wasn't very lonely with so much but pouring in from the Middle East and the Saudi's and so forth but nevertheless it seemed to be a little too closely connected to make even some of the Democrats in Congress uncomfortable!
Mr. Obama's present pick for Attorney General was integral to the arrangement of this pardon according to news sources at the time.
This change in Washington seems to be a little bit like swapping one retread out for another.
