We all know that the Governor is so, so sad that people replaced Bernie with someone that had the districts interests as a higher priority than cultivating favor with the Governor but the gifts in the form of appointments just keep on coming.
From the Governor's office press release:
Juvenile Parole Board: Mary Beth Buescher of Grand Junction, to fill a vacacy caused by the resignation of Paul W. Nelson, for a term expiring at the pleasure of the Governor. The nine-member board, one of only six in the country, reviews parole-related issues for juveniles committed to the Department of Human Services. The appointment requires Senate confirmation.
Mary Beth really is a sweet person but really.
