Many of you will know Gene Kinsey, former city councilman and mayor; A good guy who is fiscally conservative and actually cares about the city not his "legacy".
Well Gene had the loopy idea he could write to the present council and disagree with their approach to the public safety initiative, or as we thought of it here- "Give us everything we want or the cops get it" proposal.
He was rewarded by a couple of replies we found on his blog: Living The Grand Life, where he does honest work on some of the issues of the day.

I will not engage any further, so don't send anything to this email address and expect a response. You are truly the definition of HAS BEEN!

P.S. What do you think would be the outcry if Janet Rowland or Craig Meis made the response?

Isn't it ironic that the City's ills that you mention happened under your watch! I guess these are the sour grapes of a failed re-election campaign that we're seeing from you. If you wish to eliminate or fire Council members, please feel free to start with me!
