Stumpin For The 'Bama- Arizona Governor Delivers a Confusing Message

We noted that the Governor of Arizona was in town recently stumping for the Democrat presidential nominee.

We were intrigued by her choice of words, calling the Democrat platform "pragmatic progressivism".

Now we all know that the new word for liberal is progressive but what makes the term so oxymoronic is the idea that you can pragmatically choose a philosophy that as shown itself to be a failure for the last 400 years.

Let's analogize this wealth redistribution, class warfare and pounding flat of the social strata to insisting that you can flap your arms like a bird and fly.

After many years of broken bones from falling from garage roofs and such things most would decide that flight should be achieved by some other means; but some stubbornly believe their idea of rapid flapping to be correct, if only they can change it somehow to make it operate.

So they begin to make certain changes; painting their arms different colors, flapping their arms at different angles or jumping off taller buildings.

All of these ideas continue to yield disappointing results.

In the meantime new ideas arise utilizing technology to build aircraft, gliders and rockets. The flying by flapping proponent then attempts to dress itself up to appear as an aircraft, glider or rocket.

This camouflage continues to yield the same disappointing and sometimes seriously injuring results.

Thus we have the lesson of continuously attempting experiments involving socialism, Marxism, Maoism, Leninism and so forth.

Later, we will discuss how putting a bright new saddle on a dead horse will not make it win the race
