Buescher Achieves Faux Business Award-Well, Things Are Getting Tough out There for Him

Most people know that the chamber of commerce endorsement of Laura Bradford was damaging to the Buescher/Ritter campaign effort.

So since that time the campaign has been scurrying around the state to try and get groups that sound like they are made up of actual working businesses to say that higher property taxes are helpful to business.

We checked the membership list of this latest group and while there are a few companies that actually produce something the vast majority, as expected are some type of economic development councils or government or quasi-government institutions.

Given the enormous support of organized labor for the candidate it's surprising they don't give him an award and claim to be a business group as well.

By the way, if you haven't had a chance to hear the latest commercial from the Buescher campaign about how he needs to fight against the front range interests you really should listen for the comedic value.

Since Saturday Night Night live doesn't do parodies of local Colorado races this commercial is about as good as it gets.

It has become remarkably clear to most voters in House District 55 that when the boys in Denver say jump-our representative starts hitting his head on the ceiling.
