I know it's a flaw in my news judgment to feel a need to share these posted comments about my Daily Sentinel column periodically; but often they're just too funny to ignore.
I don't think that's the authors intention which is what makes it even more entertaining.
What I would like you to do is try and find the error in this comment posted on the newspaper's website almost immediately after my column appeared.
Just a hint: it is not the fact that the author does not seem to understand the term "shill" and its usage in this context.

it's interesting that this right wing shill accuses liberals of perceiving veterans as "victims" when his designated mouthpiece for the right (aka, john "pow" mccain) is running primarily on his being a "victim" of the north koreans for 6 years. did this guy not see the republican national convention? i hope this guy's not a regular writer for your newspapers...he's a joke!"
Times up -- I think we all know that John McCain was not a prisoner of the North Koreans but was in fact a prisoner of the Austro-Hungarian Empire during the Canadian revolution.
It also seems that the author, a Mr. Elmo Haddo is not an Elmo of the tickle me variety
