Emily Anderson on her Free Press blog, brings up an interesting conversation she had with former state Senator Tilman Bishop regarding Representative Buescher's sponsorship of legislation that did away with taxation on aircraft that were removed from the state after purchase.
It seems that former Senator Bishop had flirted with such ideas in the 90s and had commented on that fact to Ms. Anderson.
The Buescher Family Limited Partnership owned an aviation company and according to the Daily Sentinel had completed the sale of West Star aviation to a Kansas group in 2005, during Mr. Buescher's original campaign.
