The question we have is: why The Daily Sentinel spoke to the Executive Director of the Grand Junction Economic Partnership; an organization that has had little to zero to do with this phenomenon.
The main accomplishment of this so-called partnership has been to assume credit for things that were happening anyway and spending money on sumptuous quarters.
Somehow this organization, that at one point was quite useful, has been coasting on its past reputation and continues to receive funding, apparently without any serious interest in the nature of its results.
The board is made up of some really top-notch people, however the executive staff seems to be oddly- not business oriented.
Now, they have located their newly remodeled headquarters near the Western Colorado Congress, so that may explain some of the lack of business enthusiasm as degraded radiation from those who are vehemently opposed to business growth.
Well, other than free trade coffee shops and sandal making.
