Caterwauling over Senate Bill 200 Fallout -- Libs Wanted It- Chickens Now Flapping toward Roost

Monitoring as we do the liberal bloc by a use of the Internet and brave agents disguised in hemp clothing and transmitting messages via their wristwatch radios, we hear the alarm amongst the Western Slope Politburo over the discovery of the ramifications of Senate Bill 200.

Much of the comment from Governor Ritter and his cohorts, such as our own representative Bernie Buescher is an unimpressive blend of- that's not what will happen or- it's misconstrued- and my personal favorite -- if that happens, I'll be the first to fight to change it.

Many of the problems of this bill are obvious on their face so the proponents coming up with these statements either didn't read it, didn't get it if they did read it or some combination of both, all of which seems a bit unlikely.

The obvious answer is that their support was not for the voters of Colorado, but a favor to special interest groups and front range masters.

One thing is certain, judging by the alarm (or alaurm as the British like to put it) by the left over this notice of Senate Bill 200 -- despite the Governor trying to sign it under a blanket in the backseat of a car, metaphorically speaking -- there is going to be fallout or to paraphrase a popular movie --
"There Will Be Voting"
