A Daily Sentinel story today referenced two candidates as Democrats; however was somewhat off the mark by identifying the third as a Republican or "GOP" candidate. While this is certainly the identifier that will appear on the ballot it is a description that so far seems strained.
We have also been trying to verify some rumors about the involvement of the Western Colorado Congress in local Republican politics but have as yet no firm information.
However, we do have some individuals willing to risk life and limb to provide information; usually at prearranged times through the use of small wireless communication devices kept hidden in coffee cans.
A tip of the hat to these brave souls that risk capture -- where they would be forced to watch Leonardo DiCaprio movies and listen to Al Gore speeches until they had become so disoriented they would be of no use in modern society.
