Let the Gnashing of Teeth Begin -- Court Rules Mill Levy Freeze/Tax Increase Unconstitutional

In a move that has caused open sobbing in the streets around the state Capitol and undoubtedly at the home of at least one local politician; a Denver judge has ruled the obvious tax increase portion of the Governor's mill Levy "freeze" to be unconstitutional.

Despite many in the media's attempts to portray this as anything other than a stinging rebuke to the Governor and the Democrat legislature, the fact that a Denver judge, who is hardly sympathetic to conservative viewpoints, has passed out such a ruling shows how obvious it must be to anyone.

The decision will most certainly be appealed and those that want to get very deeply into the citizens pockets will hope that the natural predilection of the judicial branch to dislike the Tabor amendment will sway the state Supremes.

Even if that were to happen, it shows how wrong they were to think that this would go unchallenged and they would get a free ride. Their of course, as been no comment from the District 55 representative who would be Speaker and none apparently sought.
