The Los Angeles Times Throws One of the Lowest Blows -- Complaining about McCain's Disability Pension For Being Tortured
Well they must really be worried on the left coast. The Los Angeles Times has taken a shot so far below the belt on John McCain that I'm surprised they didn't scrape their knuckles on the ground.
They, and I'm not making this up, are complaining about his $58,000 total disability pension that he received after spending five years as a prisoner of war in Hanoi and being regularly tortured. They also seem upset that it's tax-free -- really, I'm not making this up.
Many of you know that his shoulders are permanently damaged by the Vietnamese hanging him with his hands behind his back after seriously damaging them when he was shot down.
I wish I could think of something funny to say about it, but it's just plain despicable.
