In a startling bit of not understanding... well pretty much everything, City Councilman, roundabout hobbyist and candidate for a county job, Jim Doody, got out in front of a bit of seemingly heavy handed municipal maneuvering. See Sentinel Story Here.
Trying to parlay the largely honorary title of Mayor into some publicity for his dwindling run at County Commissioner, Doody has been trying to get in the news whenever possible.
Unfortunately for him these media forays demonstrate either; a.) a desire to take the fall for unpopular staff decisions or b.) he doesn't know they are unpopular decisions.
Neither are helpful impressions for a candidate.
