Democrats got together for their county convention this Saturday and had a good turnout which is always nice to see.
While I think most of the ideas offered by their party are several bubbles off level they are trying to get things done and are taking time out from their personal lives to get involved.
This by itself is not only a good thing, but it helps sharpen those on the other end of the political spectrum to be more adroit in their own political maneuvering.
If you let one party run things unopposed too long you end up with a political system like Chicago or Albania, which are pretty much the same, although the Albanians have a slightly more fair system.
It was nice to see Bernie Buescher since we don't ever see pictures of him anywhere. I heard there were some danger he might take a position on something, but the moment passed.
We'll be commenting on their summer of love as time passes.
