Oil and Gas Opponents May Get Their Way-and Good and Hard


Great news for all the folks out there who want to keep young workers out of the gas fields and in the Starbucks serving them skim milk lattes. Their efforts to get business crushing regulation may succeed. See the Sentinel story here.

What this will mean for the area is a head long descent into recession. Those that think that the economy is diversified enough to survive a large energy industry pull out, manifest a complete lack of understanding of the economic multiplier of the industry dollars through the construction, retail and housing industry.

Oh and local governments, no more people or capital projects. Probably still be great fishing though-especially if your money comes from out of state environmental pressure groups.


Keep chopping at that nose you'll show your face who is boss.
