I am moderating the monthly meeting for the conservative alliance tonight (Thursday) and I hope everyone that is interested and would like to get more involved can attend.
I must admit I'm a little worried since I've been watching the news lately and it sounds like you folks that go to these kind of rallies are either, A.) an unruly bunch of conspiracy theorists or, B.) a bunch of bused in plants for shadowy Republican hit squads.
Funny, since most of the people know each other as friends or neighbors and a surprising amount haven't been politically active before this year.
We will spend a little time reviewing what some of the study groups have been up to and hear a representative from the "Clear the Bench" movement that is hoping to organize voters to really study if they would like to retain some of the judges in Colorado.
There will also be a presentation by Martin Beeson, the District Attorney of Garfield County, who is hoping to challenge John Salazar for the Third Congressional District seat.
