It was an extremely crowded field of contenders to decide the most openly fawning media outlet during the inauguration. It came down to a very narrow choice but second place had to go to the ABC news team who declared that even the seagulls would be awed by the ceremony.
First place though had to go to the MSNBC group for not just their multi-orgasmic description of everything but Bush but also their ability to work in a bizarre liberal plug for their network at the same time. They are "MSNBC, the network that is open to change". And at that point viewers with an active gag reflex, changed the channel.
